2 NEW Art-prints in the queue.

Monday, May 21st, 2007

“The Collection” and “The Birds” are two new art-prints (by Sara) scheduled to be printed and available next month. June’s cardset-of-the-month is shaping up to correspond with The Collection…as a series of jars and specimens.

*Just to offer a heads up!*

Operation CardSets!

Monday, May 14th, 2007

The other night, Cricket Press…er Brian and I…spent folding and organizing card packs. As there are new sets to be sold…we also went ahead and set out the very last of 2006’s sets. And here they all are before packing commenced.

Did I mention that it’s we’re going to be creating a new card set every month through-out 2007? I mean…at least that’s the goal. We’re on track so far…

New batch of Test-prints hit the site.

The Lexarts BUYART! Weekend

Monday, November 27th, 2006

We wanted to thank everyone who came down to the Downtown Art Center this weekend and supported, not only us…but all the artists that participated in the first BUYART weekend organized by Lexarts! Brian and I considered the weekend a definite success. Not only did we get to meet some amazingly talented and nice local artists…the crowds were plentiful, the folks friendly…and it seemed everyone was genuinely open to buying art for the holiday season rather than spending all their money at the malls! So…thank you so much! And for Lexarts for hosting us. And Robert Love for being our charming booth-neighbor! Hopefully we can do it again next year.

Here’s our booth setup and Brian acting like a goober:

Some of our biggest sellers were, conveniently, our sets of Holiday Cards that we now have available on the site. We sold the last 5 of The Goldfish art prints and all the Sky is Falling art prints we took (which normally isn’t a big seller). On top of that…people really responded well to our latest batch of Test-Print Journals. We sold-out of those too. It’s always interesting to see which items will be most popular at a given event…because it always changes.

Here’s a pic of all the little cotton bags we printed with snowflakes. These are being used to package our sets of Holiday/Retro cards! Ti’s the Season!!!

Cricket Press makes etsy.com’s “Featured Seller”

Tuesday, November 7th, 2006

We’re pleased to have been selected as the “Featured Seller” on etsy for the week of November 6 - 13th (that’s this week!). If you’re not familiar with etsy, you should definitely check it out. We’ve been in love with this nifty little site for quite a while now, and it’s nice to see that they have taken notice of our work as well, and have offered to support us for a little while. Thanks etsy!
